Request an appraisal

Appraising works of art is at the heart of our business. Our experienced and internationally recognized experts are at your disposal to appraise your paintings in complete confidentiality.

To know the value of your painting and the best time to sell it, we invite you to fill out this form with as many photos and indications as possible. A request for an appraisal is without obligation on your part. A simple informal oral opinion or one based on photographs is free.

Our fees for an appraisal in writing, for the purposes of insurance or division, are 2% exclusive of tax of the estimated amount (with a minimum of 350 euros and a maximum of 5 000 euros). These fees are retroactive within 5 years if the painting is sold. On average, it takes five days to receive the response from an expert.

The indicative values and/or information given by Cabinet Turquin in response to requests received by e-mail, on the basis of photographs and/or documents, or following oral information provided by the applicant, can in no way be considered as the definitive appraisal. Of course, your request is confidential and we guarantee total discretion. Please note that indicative values or information concerning a painting are only given to the applicant and cannot be communicated to third parties without our prior written agreement.

We draw your attention to the fact that communications by e-mail are subject to modification by third parties.
